Additional bank holiday for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations

The official website of the Royal Family has released details about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations in 2022. The celebrations will take place across the UK, with a number of public events planned. One of the highlights of the day will be Trooping the Colour, which will be led by the 1st Battalion, Irish Guards. The event will involve over 1,200 soldiers and officers from the Household Division, and hundreds of Army musicians.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration is set for June 2022, which means that there will be four days of public holidays to mark the special occasion. The Spring bank holiday will be moved to the second Thursday in June, while a further two days will be added to the bank holiday calendar to mark the Queen’s birthday. This will allow for four days of holiday festivities that will feature cutting-edge art and ceremonial splendour.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will take place on June 3, 2022. The Queen’s Birthday Parade, also known as Trooping the Colour, is a long-standing British tradition. During the ceremony, beacons will be lit in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, and overseas UK territories. Following the parade, the Queen’s birthday service will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral. There will also be an opportunity to attend the Queen’s Birthday Party at Buckingham Palace. Ticket ballots will open in February.

The extra day of holiday will have positive effects on morale in the workplace. Employees who want to take advantage of this new policy should be informed about the new rules and discuss their plans with their managers. It will also be necessary to prepare for the possibility that they will be required to work during the event.

UMCS Dormitories fees

If you are staying in UMCS dormitories during summer holidays in June 2022, you will need to pay the same amount as you would in the academic year. To make payments, you will need to visit the reception desk of the residence hall you are staying in. You must make the payment at least five days in advance of your arrival date. The fee is the same whether you stay in the residence hall for one month and a half.

If you are interested in staying in UMCS’ summer residences, you should fill out the application form in the Regulations. If you have a disability, you can attach a copy of your disability certificate or a marriage or birth certificate. The other important thing to keep in mind is that there is no Wi-Fi in the residence halls. Also, there is a policy that there can only be one person in a double room. This is to ensure pandemic safety.
